When my dad and I went through, you walk into one set of doors and then swinging saloon doors. There is a large stage with a huge tv screen (?) Over it. We were greeted and sat right away and Christie (not sure how her name is spelled) greeted us withing minutes even during lunch hour. I am gluten intolerant and have other food allergies the server Christie was amazing and found out what i could and could not have. She was as sweet as can be and listen to my dad's stories, I had to get him back on track. When she was making my salad (had to sub salad for fries due to cross contamination,) she came out with gloves on to ask if I could have something. It was nice to see the health food measures she was taking. Now for the food, my dad got the triple decker club with fries and a salad, it was a lot of food, prepare to take some with you. I got the cheeseburger with no bun or onions. I was a little disappointed not due to the server or the chefs but it reminded me of a smash burger. Not a fan of those but it was good, I could taste the seasoning (salt and pepper) which I miss from other burger places. The menus were in a form of a newspaper which was so cool with a hidden gem on the back page regarding Doc Holiday's visit to the saloon. Th atmosphere was awesome and has a lot of nostolgic items. I would recommend this place, just not if you want a thick burger. By the way one last little note, I am super picky regarding the taste of my food (sometimes worse than a child,) so the fact that I am saying it is tasty should tell you something. Have fun at this little gem.
Was seated at the bar. Took a while to get service but was great after they noticed me. The vibe was fun and food was great! I had the Hamburger steak with a baked potato (Pic is already halfway eaten)
The food was very good! We are excited to have a great option in Hochatown. Pork ribs were great. Chicken fried chicken was awesome. An absolute do over.
I got to see Paul Wall perform here, venue was jumpin and well lit enough to see that diamond grill across the bar and outside! Ha ha much love to the folks who keep this saloon poppin!
I got the hamburger steak with mac and cheese and it was delicious! Our server wasn't very interactive but the manager Romeo came by several times and checked on our table and joked with us. We can tell he is a manager who cares and enjoys his job. Thank you for being so welcoming, Romeo!
Great place to go for dinner if you're in the area!! Big antique two story building with awesome loft seating and a massive love music venue. We came for a birthday dinner, and the staff was all super friendly and helpful. The food was great, especially the chicken friend steak. Overall a great stop, highland recommend!
Restaurant, Music Hall, and bar all wrapped up into one. I had a delicious club sandwich, most times they are not very good but this one was great. My guests had a bacon burger, but it was eaten before I could ever get a picture! It to Was very good
I had a fantastic experience at Hochatown Saloon. James, my server, went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied. He was very friendly and thoughtful. He exceeded my expectations in every way ,he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the products. My meal was so delicious and my drinks were perfect. He is highly qualified and performed exceptionally well. I am glad I chose to come out. Highly recommended. Ask for James to serve !
